Welcome to Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church. Founded by the Redemptorist Fathers in January 1882 at a time when the great Reading anthracite coal piers made Port Richmond the largest freshwater shipping terminal in the world, for the purpose of a common place to worship and educate children in the Catholic faith for those of German and Irish ancestry. The clergy and parishoners of this rich parish welcome you to this community of faith.
